Barbara
Champlin is a spiritual and energy practitioner /
alchemist, hypnotherapist,
songwriter, producer, and musician and writer. As a shamanic
practitioner, "medicine woman", she has practiced primarily from Native
American and Tibetan perspective since 1993. She has taken her
workshops through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Her Tibetan
Shamanism workshops were taken with Dr. Larry Peters. She has been
taught and given medicine from Native Americans.
She is a Reiki Master / Teacher, the Usui method, does
Body Sound
Tuning, works with the Chakra system and practices divination. Barbara
had private study for 17 years in metaphysics with some Wicca
background. She graduated from the Alchemy Institute, Boulder, Colorado
in 1997 as a hypnotherapist. In 2002 Barbara became a teacher of
Medicine For The Earth instructed by Sandra Ingerman. Medicine
for the Earth is a means for transmutation. It is a method
that can be used for one's self or assisting and aiding mother earth is
her healing. She also practices Zen Buddhism and zazen, a sitting
meditation, since 1978.
Barbara is a free lance writer and has published articles on Shamanism
and it's practices.
Barbara
plays acoustic and electric guitar and Native
American flute and is a midi programmer. She owns a production company
